Gigantic fun
I *love* their concerts, TMBG is pretty much my favorite band. They give a lot of attention to the other band members and stage time, which is awesome. They have a lot of fun doing concerts. Anyone who is a big fan should see them live, but I can't say what it would be like for someone who's not biased like me. Linnell in particular enjoys singing the songs differently, so they won't necessarily sound like they do in the albums. That doesn't bother me as I would probably do the same if I were singing the same songs over and over. The Avatars Of They put on their own video show in the middle of the concert, sang two songs, and that was by far my favorite part. I would probably pay just to see them. At the end, Flansburgh handed out bumper stickers, the red blocky Space Invader-themed ones that I think I've seen around. Courtesy of the amazing floors at the Crystal Ballroom, you get some bouncing in if anyone nearby you is bouncing or jumping.
